James Gibbs brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as Deputy Head Teacher, with an impressive 36 years of service in education. His journey spans across all year groups, though he has gained extensive expertise in Year 6, where his guidance and knowledge have been instrumental in helping students transition to secondary education.

James has been a key member of the Step Academy Trust since its inception and has been a valued part of our school community at White House for the past five years. 

Beyond his educational expertise, James is a passionate musician. He enjoys writing and creating songs, with a particular love for the piano. His creative talents also extend to the visual arts, where his appreciation for artistic expression is well-known. His love for music and art enriches both his teaching practice and his contributions to the wider school community.
